WWOOF Spain is the national organization helping to create local WWOOFing opportunities in Spain and to promote sustainable farming as a lifestyle.

My woofing experience in Spain was illuminated by meeting a host I'll always carry with me. She's kind in a way that doesn't make noise but rather touches the heart: affable, sincere, always smiling, with that good humor that greets you every morning like a ray of sunshine. Her home isn't just a place: it's a hug. You enter and immediately feel like you can breathe, you can be yourself, you can find space and a listening ear. She has a rare naturalness in making everyone feel seen, respected, and welcomed. She's always attentive to everyone's needs, ready to understand, to talk, to laugh—because yes, we laughed a lot. Her contagious, light-hearted, spontaneous kindness made every day a small, happy memory. Being with her was like finding a second home in a foreign country. One of the most beautiful experiences of my life, one of those that change you a little without you even realizing it, that leaves you with the feeling of having experienced something authentic, simple, and precious. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a WWOOF experience that goes beyond work and exchange: a genuine, bright, joyful human encounter. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Hola! We enjoyed our time in El Toril. The countryside is beautiful and warm, even in November and is full of lovely olive trees and surrounding farms. Diego's place is quaint and tranquil. Diego was kind enough to lead us in buddhist chanting and meditation every morning and night. Due to this we were able to cultivate more space and energy within ourselves. We were able to cook and eat what was available and shared many meals together. Our tasks included working on the construction site upstairs were Diego plans to make more bedrooms for meditators for a future community. We also picked many olives to dry and harvested Saffron. The drinking water is so fresh and comes right from the mountain. Thank you Diego and Magali!

I had a great time at Bhilar. Stunning views and a nice bodega. Interesting experience, learned a lot, even stuffing cow manure into cow horns, leaving them underground for a biodynamic treatment. Melanie and David are very generous and nice people.

I stayed at Veronica’s place for ten days and had an amazing time. Her project and vision for the land are truly inspiring. She has a lot of knowledge about permaculture and she takes time to explain things. I learned a lot during my stay! I had a great time walking with her goats, helping to build paths, and collecting chestnuts. She also introduced me to her friends, showed me around the area and we shared meal and great conversations. Thank you so much for the experience. I can truly recommend staying here!

Jean & The Family are super nice! We only stayed one week but we wish we could’ve stayed longer. Super inspring to see this project from almost the beginning. Jose and Jean will answer all your questions and are always ready to help. Luna & Flora are their two adorable daughters who make you feel very welcomed. We will definitely be back to see how this place grew! The accommodation is good and it has everything you need. Private bedroom & the bathroom is shared with other Wwoofers. Breakfast was separate ( the place where the woofers sleep is separte from the main house )This way the families also have a bit of private time. We had coffee breaks during our work hours, we could borrow bikes and if we had a drivers license we could’ve borrowed their car as well. We took the bikes to the beach, really recommend. Overall we had a really nice stay and we recommend to go to Jean & Jose to help them building this beautiful place. Big thank you!! :)

I am very grateful for the time I spent at Ella‘s finca. I learned so much in one month, about agriculture as well as cooking, making jams and living together with other people. Ella cooks delicious meals and took us to beautiful places in the area. The finca is a great place to learn, grow, explore and enjoy the beauty of nature. Thank you Ella for this experience!
