WWOOF Spain is the national organization helping to create local WWOOFing opportunities in Spain and to promote sustainable farming as a lifestyle.

My stay at The Springs Homestead/Finca Los Aljibes was my first experience of wwoofing, and it's something I won't forget anytime soon. Archie and Aurelie are incredibly kind people who always try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They are friendly, polite and considerate, and always willing to listen to your opinions and needs. I would recommend the farm to anyone who isn’t afraid of hard work on a farm and is eager to learn about regenerative and ecological agriculture. I had a wonderful time and wish this lovely family all the best. Best regards, Philip.

I loved staying at Can Sort. Jaume is a very considerate host, he always makes sure that everyone is well. Often he asked me what I want to do and tried to find a task that I would enjoy. Manly I did construction stuff, but there is also a garden and a very nice kitchen (on some days we made jam, and I will remember David’s cakes for the rest of my life). I enjoyed life at Can Sort very much and I will miss it a lot. We had so much fun, I love the dogs (they are very nice, cute and cuddly) and the nature around the house is so beautiful. I hope that I will be able to come back soon!

Jaume and his roomate Nico are super welcoming and easy to talk to, life is very peaceful with the dogs, cats, and chickens... I learned some wood work and I loved it.

I had a really nice stay at L‘Hortet de Vallparadís. We usually worked during the morning doing a wide variety of tasks and I learned a lot about organic gardening and maintenance. In addition Albert gave us a great insight into Catalan culture. He shared a lot with us, cooked delicious Catalan meals and took us on many trips, like to the mountains, on a human tower exhibition and to the city Tarragona.

I spent three weeks at Amaterra, and it was the best thing ever! We shared most of our meals together, which made everything feel super relaxed and kind of like a little family. I also loved that I could just jump into baking and cooking whenever I felt like it — everything didn’t feel like a task, more like doing something I enjoy and getting to share it with everyone. I was also working alongside other volunteers most of the time, so I was almost never alone. The best part for me was definitely taking care of Mona, Zana, Caramello, and Poncho every day🐴🐴🫏🫏. Marion and me went for a ride-out with Mona and Zana -> HUGE HIGHLIGHT!!! I’m really grateful for my time at Amaterra and would 100% recommend it to anyone who’s looking for something genuine. I will definitely come back:)

My stay at La Casa de Ella was truly a wonderful experience. The farm is set in amazing natural surroundings, with beautiful landscapes that make it easy to feel relaxed and connected to nature from the very first day. Ella is an incredibly warm and welcoming host who makes you feel at home right away. She takes great care of her volunteers and prepares some of the most delicious meals, which are especially appreciated after a good day of work. The work itself was very manageable and fair. During our stay, it mostly consisted of weeding, with occasional planting and harvesting. One of the highlights was definitely the time spent with the other WWOOFer as sharing meals, conversations, and experiences made the stay even memorable. If possible, having your own car is a nice advantage, as it allows you to explore the beautiful surrounding area in the afternoons. Otherwise there are buses running to the small towns nearby. All in all, it is a very peaceful and enjoyable place to unwind yourself in nature. I am very grateful for this experience and would really recommend La Casa de Ella to anyone looking for a meaningfull and relaxing WWOOF stay.

I had a really meaningful and enriching experience volunteering at the farm! Was the first volunteer at the farm that made the experience even more meaningful! Over the course of 11 days, I got to be part of the daily rhythm of an organic farm (with the most loving dog!) and learned a lot through hands-on work and experiencing a completely different pace of life. Everything was just starting hence felt even more rewarding to contribute to the house and the farm's beginnings! Communication is superb even during the earlier stages of planning the volunteer visit, arrival day, during the stay and until my last day! The work was definitely physical at times (but Simon was always there to guide and support!), but also very grounding and rewarding. It further reinforced my respect for the people who do this every day and for the food and simple things in life we often take for granted. The farm is close to scenic mountain hikes which made it easy to both unwind and enjoy nature during free time. It also helped that Oviedo is nearby, so you can occasionally step out for a quick city visit, try the local cuisine or just change the pace for a bit. Beyond the work, it was also a great opportunity to step out of my usual routine, meet new people esp. the welcoming neighbors and reflect on what a more intentional way of living could look like. Highly recommend to anyone who is open to learning and willing to get their hands dirty! I'm already planning on visiting again this summer!

What was supposed to be a visit over the summer, quickly turned into a 7 months stay at Finca La Manga. The decision was easy, considering what a beautiful project this is and how wonderful the management team are. If you are looking for a place to grow, reflect and connect, this is the place for you. I can't wait to come back. ❤️
