La Veguilla is a farm of about 3 hectares, which sits close to the small village of Nieva, Segovia. The farm is set amidst beautiful plains, with pine forest and views of the mountains. It is an hour and a half from Madrid by bus. We have an organic tree and shurb nursery -Lavrus-, as well as organic garden, a carpentry workshop, We also keep chickens. Sometimes we recieve clients for shiatsu massage treatments. We also practice Yoga.
The activity for wwoofers will be mostly in the nursery and in the garden, as well as sharing work in the kitchen and around the home.Volunteers are welcome to share experiencies in the rest of activities we do here: biobuilding, carpentry (during the winter) cooking, yoga, massage. We have many requests to join us here, so please write to us with a bit of information about yourself. We will respond as soon as possible. We prefer woofers can arrive on Sunday, so that you will have the rest of day to rest and settle. Or arrive at the beginning of the week or during the week if necessary. Please try not to arrive on Friday and Saturday.
No maxiimum stay bur for more than 2 weeks we have to see how it works between us before to be sure.

La Veguilla es una finca de unas 3Ha, en las afueras de Nieva (Segovia), en el inicio de un extenso pinar. En ella se haya el vivero orgánico de leñosas -LAVRUS-, donde se cultivan árboles y arbustos. Cuenta con un invernadero y las infraestructuras necesarias para la reproducción de estas plantas: Agua subterranea y cobertura de riego.
Además parte de la finca es utilizada para el cultivo de huerta orgánica, cuya producción es comercializada a grupos de consumo y particulares de la zona.
La finca cuenta además con una carpintería, almacén y una vivienda.
Tenemos colmenas para producción de miel y para ayudar a la polinización de las plantas; algunas gallinas pasarán proximamente a engrosar los habitantes de la finca.
Contamos además con titulación para realizar tratamientos de masaje shiatsu.
Las actividades de la granja para los wwoofers incluyen fundamentalmente trabajos de vivero y huerta ecologica. Otros campos en los que los wwoffers pueden intercambiar experiencia, si tienen interes, es bioconstrucción, apicultura, carpintería artesanal, cocina, yoga, massage ...
