ES LaFINKA ALEXANDRIA se encuentra en la Gomera, la segunda isla mas pequena de las Canarias. La superficie total de la finca es de unas 2,5 hectareas de terreno de terrazas, a 800 metros sobre el nivel del mar (!) y orientada al sur. Estamos en la fase inicial de un proyecto agricola basado en la permacultura y buscamos a gente interesada en ayudarnos a construir las bases del mismo. Entre las actividades se encuentra la creacion de infraestructuras, la construccion y reconstruccion de muros de piedra natural, depositos de agua, estanques, corrales, etc. Ademas de sistemas de bancales y de cultivo alternativos, cortavientos y sistemas de riego. El alojamiento es en una casa particular cerca de la finca. La tarea principal consiste en disenar de forma creativa el jardin de acuerdo con nuestra idea de la permacultura. Actualmente somos tres personas en el proyecto y trabajamos 7 horas durante 5 dias a la semana,(los Voluntarios 6 horas) ademas de alimentar a nuestros animales-en el momento son, (2 Gatos y Gallinas:). Construimos nosotros mismos practicamente todo y por eso podemos transmitir nuestros concocimientos artesanales en trabajos en piedra natural, madera y metal. Para estancias largas, se necesitan 2 semanas de prueba. DE FINKA ALEXANDRIA - PROJEKTBESCHREIBUNG: Die Finca Alexandria befindet sich auf La Gomera,die zweit kleinste Insel der Kanaren.Die Gesamtfläche der Finca beträgt ca. 2,5ha terrassiertes Gelände auf 800 Meter Meereshöhe(!) in einer Südhanglage. Wir sind noch in der Anfangsphase eine Permakultur-Landwirtschaft aufzubauen und suchen im Moment Leute die in erster Linie am Grundaufbau interessiert sind. Hierzu gehören die Schaffung der Infrastruktur, das wieder oder neu Aufbauen von Natursteinmauern, Wassertanks, Teichen, Stallungen. Hinzu kommen alternative Beet und Pflanzensysteme, Windschutz und Bewässerungssysteme. Die Unterkunft erfolgt in einem Privathaus in der Nähe der Finca (15 min.). Die Hauptaufgabe besteht in der kreativen Gartengestaltung im Sinne unseres Permakulturdesigns. Wir sind im Moment zu viert und unsere Arbeitszeiten betragen neben der Fütterung unserer Tiere, (2 Katzen & Hühner:) 7 Std. täglich (Wwoofers 6 Std.), 5 Tage in der Woche. Wir bauen fast alles selbst und können somit die verschiedensten handwerklichen Fähigkeiten im Bereich Naturstein , Holz und Metallverarbeitung sowie Gastronomie und Pflanzenkunde vermitteln. Für längere Aufenthalte sind 2 Wochen Probezeit vorgesehen. EN FINKA ALEXANDRIA is located in la Gomera, the second smallest island of the Canary Islands. The plot has 2,5 hectares and it is laid out in terraces. It is 800 m above sea level, facing south. We are in the starting stage of an agricultural project based on permaculture and we are looking for people interested in collaborating to create its foundations. These are some of the activities that we will carry out: Creation of infrastructure, building and reconstruction of natural stone walls, water tanks, ponds, farmyards, etc. We will also work on patches and alternative culture systems, windbreaks and irrigation systems. Accommodation is in a private house close to the finca. The main task consists on designing the garden in a creative way according to our conception of permaculture. We are currently three people working on the project 7 hours a day, 5 days a week (volunteers work 6 hours a day). We also take care of feeding our animals (2 Cats & Chickens:). We build ourselves practically everything and therefore we can transmit our hand-craft knowledge in natural stone, wood and metal. For long stays, 2 testing weeks are required.
