Son Rullán is an ancient monastery perched on the mountainside with hundreds of olive trees.
Since Son Rullán achieved organic status we are slowly converting the farm into a sustainable project.
Because of the wide variety of projects we are developing, we are looking for motivated and open-minded volunteers with different skills and interests. If you enjoy learning, sharing, meeting new people, and spending time surrounded by nature, this could be a great fit for you.

🪨 Dry-Stone Wall Restoration Project (“Marge”)
This project is part of the traditional preservation of the Mallorcan rural landscape.
You will learn and assist in restoring dry-stone walls (“marges”), an ancient and beautiful technique deeply rooted in the island and considered part of its cultural heritage.
The work is guided by a local specialist and involves physical outdoor activity, including moving stones of different sizes — so good physical condition and motivation are important.
Start date: from December 12th or January
Minimum stay: 2 weeks
🌿 General Farm & Organic Garden + House Maintenance
Ideal for volunteers who enjoy variety, enjoy working with their hands, and want to contribute to everyday farm life.
Possible tasks include:
Working in the organic vegetable garden
Planting trees
Painting and polishing areas of the house
General maintenance (indoor & outdoor)
Supporting different seasonal farm activities
Knowledge of organic gardening and compost making, developing a medicinal and aromatic plants garden or similar skills is a plus.
Start period: end of January – March
