UPDATE !! Starting SEPTEMBER 2025 I’ll be looking for responsible volunteers with experience in construction . You must be independent, preferably with your own car. Preferably older than 25y, and experienced in DIY jobs such as renovation, using powertools . We will continue on my eco- building, finishing the walls with s’ cob’ traw/ mud mix and do minor repairs to the house. So be prepared for fysical work, get muddy, great laughs and seriously good food!! I’m looking for a couple ( they can sleep in the house) + a couple/ 2 friends that are travelling in their campervan. Also there is a large bell tent that can accommodate 3-4 friends. Greetings Karima ************************ Colibr Farm is set in the beautiful mountains of Malaga Province in Andalusia.We are located near a bustling town called Coin that has good transport to the Costa del Sol and Malaga airport. The farm has over 150 fruit trees of which mainly organic oranges but also fig, olive Kaki, almonds .. We are in the begin stages of running the farm and production of the fruit to sell on farmers markets. The mainhouse needs renovation work and we are in the process of building a adobe extension and tiny house. We have a Bell tent for volunteers to use as well as the kitchen and bathroom in the farm house with high speed WiFi We can accommodate up to 5 people. As a volunteer you would help out with the adobe construction, renovation work, tending the trees and maintenance of the terrein. We love to go to farmers markets, cook delicious meals, have paëlla nights under the stars, create art and music. We are a Brazilian/ Belgium couple that love to travel and meet new people and we will host you with open arms. There are a lot of nature activities here such as hiking and swimming in the waterfall.. and all the beaches of Marbella, Torremolinos, Fuengirola are 1 hour by bus. Come and enjoy a real Andalusian farm life. We welcome you.
