Hello Wwoofers, My name is Ane Mari and I'm from Norway and I traveled the world a few times. Now we are starting a new adventure on this property in @ soulfulsanctuary Cordovilla, Tobarra in the state of Albacete. We want to focus on self sufficiency and cultivation of a forest garden and looking forward to meet like minded people to share this long sought after dream... We are making a nursery, and planting a forest garden with perennials and annuals. We want to organize bio construction courses, yoga retreats and other courses with time. The property already has 50 olive trees, some almond trees, huge fig trees and some grapevines, pomegranate, apples, pears, kaki, plums, peaches and citrus, but we will like to have a great diversity and plant pioneer species for shade and biomass. We cook, work in the garden and learn together. In end of may and beginning of June I need help for watering and tending the garden. We have rooms available for the woofers with shared bathroom. Big shared kitchen with many areas for eating and hanging out. A patio, a barbecue area and a couple of hammocks for relaxation and reading in the siesta hours. It is a very peaceful place without many nearby neighbours. We will have a lot of focus on plants and establishing an appropriate design so if you like this, you are in the right place. Dryland subtropical fruits are of main interest. There are lots of biking lanes in the area (you can bring your own bike for now) and if you like hiking, there are hiking groups in Tobarra and Hellin. There is a mountain top next to the house with a tower 2,5 km away. Cordovilla and Sierra is the closest village with a few shops, also about 1-2 km away. It is a peaceful place and you will have plenty of time to read, study, exercise, meditate or swim when the pool is up and running.
