Small Family Farm

Hi there.
My name is Merith. Together with my husband Chris and our animals( cats and dogs… so far) we have a beautiful plot in the mountains of Andalusia.
We bought this plot with a ruïne on it. We are still building to make this a place with several small tiny houses, our permaculture garden, our art walk forrest, making our own olive oil and lots of more projects to come.
Because we need money to do this, we rent out the small houses.
I am also a yoga teacher and masseur. So we do retreats as well for groups.
During the retreats my husband, Chris is the chef, preparing vegetarian dishes.
We start the day with taking care of the animals and our garden and afther that our guests need some attention with breakfast, yoga classes and massages.
Then that it’s time to build or work on one of our projects.
In summer it’s necessary to take a break in the afternoon afther lunch and in the evening we sometimes have to make dinner for our guests or make stuff for our small shop like selfmade humus, lemonade or incense.
We only make once a day a vegetarian ( big) lunch. There is a shared fridge with a lot of stuff to make your own breakfast and dinner if you are still hungry ;)
You sleep in our guestroom with attached bathroom and there is a outside shared kitchen and patio/ terrace.
Our house is around the corner of a big nature parc. So lots of possibilities to walk.
In the high season( from April till December) there are almost daily yoga classes you can join.
Half an hour drive ( by car. By public bus it's an hour) from the coast. There are several small villages half an hour/45 minutes walk from our place.
It’s 1 hour drive to Malaga and 1,5 to Granada.
If you have a car or you want to travel with public transport there’s a lot to visit in this area.
When you go to the seaside, you can snorkel or hire a kayak.
