Hi, my name is Lucas, and together my partner Alba and I run an agroecology project. The farm is located in the village of Sant Llorenç Savall, about 50km from Barcelona. In the farm, we live with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. We have dogs, cats, chickens, and one of our goals for the near future is to increase the diversity of animals in the farm, integrating them with our woodland of fruit and oak trees through holistic grazing.
Our project is in its infancy. At the moment, jobs consist of building infrastructure and some basic maintanence works like watering, mowing , weeding, harvesting and caring for animals. We also perform ecological studies, aiming to design agriculture practices that are ecologically sound.
Days in the farm could be like:
1. feeding chickens, cleaning chicken coop, collecting eggs, working on bio-construction of infrastructure.

We have a guests room in the rouse with a bed, wardrobe and table. We have lunch and dinner together, usually breakfast as well but not always. Wwoofers would be made familiar with the kitchen and have total access to it at all times. Meals are very often Mediterranean style, but sometimes I cook brazilian food or asian inspired dishes. We eat meat, but also a lot of vegetables, fruits and nuts.
We enjoy music. We have a piano and a guitar, and some of us sing to different levels. Reading is also one of the favorite habbies in the family. The farm is located in the surroundings of a natural parc, with lots of hiking trails and bathing spots, usually crowded during summer. On the other hand, we are not too far from relatively big citites and even Barcelona is within reach.
