Can Font is a small family farm of 45 Ha, where vines, olive trees, almond trees, cereals and a biointensive vegetable garden are grown, and where there are also livestock (some sheep, chickens, geese, and a horse) located in the 'Alt Empordà, 10 km from the Costa Brava, in the town of Pedret i Marzà, a small, rural town of less than 200 inhabitants.
The entire farm is registered with the ecological production seal, and with regenerative agriculture management.
The day-to-day life of our volunteers depends on the time of the crop in which we find ourselves. The job is 5 hours a day:
Help with manual labor in the vineyard.
Help with the manual jobs of the olive tree.
Help with planting, harvesting and weeding jobs in the kitchengarden.
Take care of the animals.
Construction of new mobile corrals for the introduction of more animals.
With this day to day we want our woofers to learn how to manage crops with regenerative agriculture techniques.
They will also be able to participate in training sessions and visits given on the farm itself.
The accommodation is in a house, with a shared room.
